Earth.com domain sale for US$800,000

According to the DnJournal weekly sales report, the highest reported domain sale for the past week was earth.com for US$800,000. The domain sale was a private sale. Other high sales included annuity.com for US$600,000 and sharks.com for US$140,000.

Flashgames.com domain sale for US$226,950

According to the weekly sales report at dnjournal.com the flashgames.com domain sold for US$226,950 in a deal brokered by Moniker/Domainsystems.

Bill Gates donates US$600 million to help fight TB

Bill Gates has donated US$600 million dollars to help the fight against tuberculosis. “”Every 15 seconds somebody dies of TB, avoidably, preventably” To all those who knock Bill Gates, and the microsoft corporation, what other head of a software giant has been so generous in their donations to help fight some of the worlds biggest problems? Google censorship in China

Google has agreed to censor its results in China via google.cn in exchange for better access to their market. China is a very big market, and it looks as though the quest for greater profits has won over. I guess google is first and foremost a business, so whilst I dont agree with their censorship, I can understand the reasons for their move. More details can be found here.
