The highest reported domain sale for the year to date according to DnJournal was on.com which was sold by Moniker/Domain Systems for US$635,000.

Dell to buy Alienware

Dell, the worlds largest PC maker has agreed to buy Alienware, known for their high end gaming machines. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, and it appears Alienware will continue to operate as an independent subsidiary of Dell. More details can be found here.
