Google has reportedly bought the home which houses the garage they rented when it was initially started. Apparently homes in that area are worth around $1 to $1.3 million dollars, the price paid was not disclosed but I suspect it may have been considerably more than the average price. Well Google Pagerank updates are always a big event for webmasters and they usually follow a change in the number of backlinks to a site which happened some days ago. If the pagerank sticks, this site will have increased from a Pagerank 4 to a 5.

Dell, the worlds largest PC maker has agreed to buy Alienware, known for their high end gaming machines. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, and it appears Alienware will continue to operate as an independent subsidiary of Dell. More details can be found here.
The highest reported domain sale for the year to date according to DnJournal was on.com which was sold by Moniker/Domain Systems for US$635,000.
According to dnjournal, the highest recorded domain name sale for the past week was NHS.com which was sold via moniker.com for US$151,300, quite a high price for a 3 letter .com domain. The domain currently appears to be just resolving to a parking page, which appears to be a common trend for some of the high value domain sales.
Google has agreed to censor its results in China via google.cn in exchange for better access to their market. China is a very big market, and it looks as though the quest for greater profits has won over. I guess google is first and foremost a business, so whilst I dont agree with their censorship, I can understand the reasons for their move. More details can be found here.
